Eupen enjoyed only their second win of the Jupiler League season, stunning Standard Liege 3-1 on their own patch.

Two goals from Kevin Vandenbergh put the visitors in the driving seat, and although Zoro Gohi-Bi pulled one back for Standard, Abderazak Jadid put the result beyond doubt five minutes from time.

Eupen move off the foot of the table with the win at the expense of Charleroi, who lost 2-0 at KV Mechelen. Second-half strikes for David Destorme and Jonathan Wilmet earned Mechelen the points which see them climb to fourth.

Goals from Guiseppe Rossini, Rami Gershon, Ilombe M'Boyo and Mohamed Messoudi helped KV Kortrijk to a convincing victory over Germinal Beerschot, while Zulte Waregem ran out 3-0 winners at St Truidense.

Habib Habibou and Remi Mareval were the scorers for the visitors, with Dennis Odoi's 62nd-minute dismissal capping a miserable evening for St Truidense.

Benjamin De Ceulaer netted 11 minutes from time to rescue a 2-2 draw for Lokeren at Lierse. Benjamin Mokulu grabbed Lokeren's other goal after Gonzague Vandooren and Tomasz Radzinski had given the home side a 2-0 lead at the interval.
