The latest round of the UEFA Europa league saw the likes of CSKA, BATE Borisov, Zenit St Petersburg, Porto and Stuttgart seal their place in the final 32. FIFA.com takes a look at all tonight's European football action.

Group A
Two late goals from Lech Poznan condemned Manchester City to a 3-1 loss. With the scores locked at 1-1 following efforts from Dimitrije Injac and Emmanuel Adebayor, City's Group A rivals struck twice in the last five minutes to take the points. Dedryck Boyata headed against the unwitting Manuel Arboleda to make it 2-1 before Mateusz Mozdzen hit a screamer from the edge of the area to seal it in style. Meanwhile, third-placed Juventus remain winless in Group A after being held to a goalless draw - their fourth consecutive draw in the UEFA Europa League - by basement team Salzburg.

Group B
Tiago struck a late winner to earn holders Atletico Madrid a 2-1 win over Rosenborg, lifting them into second place. Atletico led early on through Sergio Aguero but were pegged back after half-time by Markus Henriksen. Tiago stunned the home side with a brilliant winner in the 84th minute. Elsewhere in Group B, Leverkusen took a big step in advancing by collecting a 1-0 home win against Aris, thanks to a 90th minute goal by Arturo Vidal.

Group C
Gent produced a solid performance to see off ten-man Sporting Lisbon 3-1 in Group C. Tim Smolders put the Belgian side ahead after just eight minutes from the penalty spot, with Carlos Saleiro replying for the visitors before the break. Ibrahima Conte and Shlomi Arbeitman scored a goal apiece in the final ten minutes to secure the win.

An own goal from Ivo Ivanov rescued a 2-2 draw for Lille in their clash at Levski Sofia and ensured the French side remain in the runners-up spot in Group C. Goals from Garra Dembele and Vladimir Gadzhev put Levski in charge but Ivanov's header two minutes from time stole a point for Lille, adding to Vinicius De Melo's score in the first half.

Group D
Villarreal dropped from first place to third in Group D after a 1-0 loss to PAOK in Greece. Vierinha scored the game's only goal in 70th minute. Second-half goals from Brazilian midfielder Sammir and Igor Biscan helped Dinamo Zagreb to a 2-0 victory over Club Brugge in the night's other Group D encounter.

Group E
BATE Borisov sealed their place in the knockout stages of a European competition for the first time with a 3-1 home win over FC Sheriff. Two goals in six second-half minutes from Alexander Pavlov and Renan Bressan sealed the win for the Belarus champions after BATE had seen Vitaly Rodionov's 15th-minute strike cancelled out by Alexander Erokhin.

Artem Milevskiy hit both goals as Dynamo Kiev gave their hopes of reaching the final 32 a huge lift thanks to a convincing 2-0 victory over AZ Alkmaar. The win puts the Ukrainian side in second place of Group E, four points clear of the chasing pack.

Group F
CSKA Moscow booked their place into the knockout stage of the competition with a 3-1 win over Palermo. Massimo Maccarone gave the Serie A side the lead but the 31st-minute dismissal of Antonio Nocerino undermined Palermo's resilience. The Russian side capitalised with Keisuke Honda scoring in the 47th minute followed by a Tomas Necid brace (50th and 54th minutes) to clutch the win and qualification.

Sparta Prague ran out 3-1 winners over Lausanne despite the hosts taking an early lead through Guillaume Katz. The Czech side fought back, Bony Wilfred claimed his first goal of the evening just before half-time. Leonard Kweuke grabbed the second after 75 minutes and Wilfred wrapped up his brace at the 90-minute mark.

Group G
Zenit St Petersburg clung onto their 100 per cent record in Group G with a narrow 3-2 victory at Hajduk Split which ensured their place in the last 32. The Russians went 3-0 up through Aleksei Ionov, Szabolcs Huszti and Alessandro Rosina, but strikes from Marin Ljubicic and Ante Vukusic set up an intriguing climax.

AEK Athens and Anderlecht shared a 1-1 draw in the other Group G encounter. Ismael Blanco's penalty put the Greek side in the driving seat but the lead lasted just six minutes before Jan Polak levelled.

Group H
Stuttgart booked their place in the next round by extending their 100 per cent record in Group H to four games with a 3-0 victory over Getafe. Ciprian Marica opened the scoring before Timo Gebhart and Martin Harnik added further goals after the break. The other game in Group H saw Hans Henrik Andreason grab both goals in Odense BK's 2-0 defeat of Young Boys.

Group I
PSV Eindhoven moved to the brink of qualifying for the last 32 following a comfortable 3-0 win over point-less Debrecen, Ibrahim Affelay, Jonathan Reis and Stijn Wuytens with the goals. The other match in the group ended goalless between Sampdoria and Metalist Kharkiv.

Group J
Sevilla went top of Group J with a 4-0 win over Karpaty Lviv. Two goals from Alejandro Alfaro and a Luca Cigarini free-kick put Sevilla 3-0 up at half-time and Alvaro Negredo completed the scoring after the break. Paris St Germain and Borussia Dortmund remain in contention to reach the knockout stages after a scoreless draw in Paris in the other Group J match.

Group K
Steven Gerrard grabbed a hat-trick in the final 15 minutes as Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners over Napoli. The Reds were deservedly behind to Ezequiel Lavezzi's goal but the half-time introduction of Gerrard turned the tide to extend Liverpool's lead at the top of Group K. Steaua Bucharest moved from bottom to second in Group K with a 3-1 victory over FC Utrecht. The home side took the lead on 28 minutes through Florin Gardos but the visitors equalised just four minutes later through Dries Mertens. However, Steaua took control of the game with two goals inside two minutes early in the second half from Bogdan Stancu.

Group L
Porto failed to maintain their 100 per cent record as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Besiktas in Group L but the point was enough to qualify. Nihat Kahveci's second-half equaliser after Radamel Falcao Garcia's penalty for the hosts ensured the Turkish side escaped with a point after a second half which saw both sides reduced to ten men.

Elsewhere in Group L, CSKA Sofia ran out 2-1 winners at Rapid Vienna. Todor Yanchev's opener for CSKA was cancelled out by Hamdi Salihi's 57th-minute penalty before Marcos Marquinhos hit the winner for the visitors after 64 minutes.
