Martinez adds to Juve's injury troubles
Juventus winger Jorge Martinez will be sidelined until the new year after undergoing a foot operation.
The Uruguay international fractured a bone in his left foot during Saturday's 2-1 win over AC Milan.
The 25-year-old, who joined Juve from Catania this summer, will not return to action until January at the earliest.
A statement from the club read: "Martinez's return is estimated at two or three months."
Martinez's absence is a further blow for Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri, who also lost Paolo De Ceglie and Alex Manninger to injuries at the weekend.
The 24-year-old fullback damaged his knee cap, while the Austrian goalkeeper will be out for a month with an ankle injury.
Juve, who host Salzburg in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, are still without the services of goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and defender Leandro Rinaudo. Both players are expected to return in January.
