Saudi League defending champions Al Hilal returned to winning ways as they hammered their hosts Al Raed 4-0 at the start of round 11. After a scoreless first half, Al Raed should have opened through Mousa Salman Al Shammari who missed a penalty on 54 minutes just four minutes before he missed another chance from the spot.
Al Hilal, who were reduced to ten men as Majed Al Marshadi was sent off on 58 minutes, opened the scoring on 61 minutes through Ousama Hawsawi just five minutes before Thiago Neves made it 2-0. Neves scored his second goal on the night and the third for his side on 73 minutes while Mohamad Al Shalhoub sealed the win by scoring the fourth goal with one minute remaining.
Elsewhere, Al Nasr returned to victories as well as they defeated Al Ittifaq 2-1. Al Ittifaq took the lead two minutes before the break through Yousef Al Salem but Al Nasr leveled the scores on 61 minutes through Rayan Bilal just seven minutes before he scored the winning goal for his side.
In the last match on Thursday, Najran hammered Al Hazm 4-0 to climb to the eighth place in the standing. Jordan international defender Anas Bani Yasin gave the lead to Najran on 31 minutes before Alhassan Al Yami made it 2-0 on 51 minutes while Congolese striker Yves Diba Ilunga scored third goal on 58 minutes before adding the fourth seven minutes later.
The round will be continued on Friday as Al Shabab host Al Wahda, Al Qadisiya take on Al Ittihad, Al Taawon meet Al Fateh while it will be concluded on Saturday when Al Faisaly play against Al Ahli.
