Al Jazira returned to top spot in the UAE League as they defeated Ittihad Kalba'a 4-3 in an entertaining encounter. Al Jazira opened the scoring after 13 minutes through Ibrahima Diaky before Brazilian striker Bare made it two in the 21st minute before notching a third goal three minutes later.

Ittihad Kalba'a pulled a goal back two minutes before the break through Gregory Dufrennes before Ibrahim Hasan scored their second just after the hour mark. Diaky scored his second goal on the night and the fourth for Al Jazira after 77 minutes before Ibrahim Abdullah scored the third goal for Ittihad Kalba'a.

Elsewhere, Al Wasl shared a 2-2 draw with Al Ain thanks to a brace from their Spanish midfielder Francisco Yeste who opened the scoring after 17 minutes before Juma Saeed leveled the scores for Al Ain in the second half. Al Ain took the lead in the game soon after through Mohannad Al Enezi but Yeste scored a valuable equalizer with an 83rd-minute penalty.

In the last match of the round, defending champions Al Wahda hammered Al Shabab 5-2. Brazilian midfielder Hugo Henrique gave the lead to Al Wahda after only two minutes before Fahad Masoud made it 2-0 inside 15 minutes, while Mohamad Naser pulled a goal back for Al Shabab on 37 minutes.

Henrique scored his second goal and the third for his side one minute later while Julio Cesar scored the second goal for Al Shabab on 71 minutes. However, Al Wahda scored their fourth goal through their Brazilian striker Fernando Baiano on 78 minutes just eight minutes before Bashir Saeed scored the fifth goal.
