Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has claimed an unnamed Spanish club have made an approach to sign Argentinian playmaker Javier Pastore.
The 21-year-old has scored four goals in eight games for I Rosanero this season and has reportedly attracted the attention of both Barcelona and Real Madrid, as well Manchester City.
Zamparini told Italian radio station GR Parlamento: "There has been no official offer from anyone - just an approach from a Spanish club for about €25m.
"There has been nothing from Italy. As I have said before, Pastore is priceless because he is not for sale.
"However, I do realise that it will not be easy to keep him here as I believe he is valued at around €60m.
"He is a player who will win the Golden Ball one day. He is one of the strongest players in the world."
Pastore joined Palermo in July 2009 from hometown club Talleres, and is under contract with the Sicilian outfit until June 2014.
