FC Copenhagen today strengthened their grip on Denmark's top tier with a convincing 3-0 win at Silkeborg.

Cesar Santin (16), Martin Vingaard (58) and Cristian Bolanos (71) all found the target for the leaders, who now hold a huge 14-point advantage over nearest rivals FC Midtjylland.

FCK's city rivals Brondby climbed to third with a 2-1 victory over Randers. Daniel Wass and Michael Krohn-Delhi put the home side in the driving seat, with Yura Movsisyan netting a last-minute consolation for Randers. Lyngby slipped a place to fourth after a surprise 2-0 loss at home to Horsens, with Gilberto and Issey Nakajima-Farran on the scoresheet for the visitors.

In today's other match, goals from Jeppe Curth and Niklas Jense earned AaB a 2-0 victory over FC Nordsjaelland, but it was not enough to lift them off the foot of the table.
