Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp believes his side should not be written off after being held to a 1-1 draw by Paris St Germain in Europa League Group J.

Dortmund have won just one of their first three games and will now have to pick up points in either Paris or Seville to give them a chance of reaching the last 32. That, according to Klopp, is not out of the question.

"To have only drawn this game is not bad," he said. "It is not as if we can do nothing with this draw. We have still picked up a point and realised that we can beat this opponent away from home."

PSG equalised in the 87th minute to leave Dortmund in third place in their group before the two sides meet again in the French capital in a fortnight. And Klopp claimed his side had been unfortunate to drop points at the Westfalenstadion.

"We were superior for much if the game, but we just lacked the killer instinct in the second half," he added. "Our opponents then responded and equalised with a goal which came from an offside position."
