Javier Zanetti would welcome Kaka to Inter Milan with open arms.
The Real Madrid star has been linked with a return to Serie A since the summer, with I Nerazzurri reportedly keen to acquire his services.
"Kaka is a great champion and, if he comes, he will reinforce an already strong group," said Inter captain Zanetti. "We would be happy to have him. He would be received with open arms just like any other champion."
Earlier this week, Inter president Massimo Moratti denied reports the club have made a move to sign the Brazil international.
The 28-year-old moved to Real last year from AC Milan but has struggled with injuries during his time in the Spanish capital.
Kaka is currently sidelined with a right knee problem and is not expected to return to action until December.
