Faruk Hadzibegic, the former manager of second division Bastia, has been named as the new coach of struggling Ligue 1 outfit Arles-Avignon.

The former Yugoslav international replaces Michel Estevan, who was sacked last month.

Promoted Arles are finding life tough at the top, failing to take a point from their opening seven matches.
