Columbus Crew hit back to draw 2-2 with the New England Revolution to reclaim the lead in the Eastern Conference from New York Red Bulls.

Pat Phelan and Shalrie Joseph had netted to put New England in control but Steven Lenhart and a Guillermo Barros Schelotto penalty earned the Crew the point they needed to move back to the top of the table.

Philadelphia Union beat Chivas USA 3-0 with goals from Alejandro Moreno, Fred and Sebastien Le Toux as the Eastern Conference side dominated the Western Conference strugglers.
