Feyenoord coach Mario Been fears he could be without injured forward Jon Dahl Tomasson for the rest of the year.

The 34-year-old has not featured for the Rotterdam club so far this season, after suffering a thigh injury three months ago while playing for Denmark at the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™.

Been told Ad.nl: "I have long hoped to have him back quickly, but the messages I get now are far from optimistic.

"It is still at least a few weeks. I fear he is unavailable for the winter."

Tomasson is in the final year of his contract at De Kuip.
