Etoile reclaimed first place in the S-League thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win over 10-man Balestier at Queenstown Stadium.

Flavian Michelini opened the scoring after six minutes and Frederic Mendy added a second shortly after the half-hour mark.

Karim Boudjema put the game beyond the visitors with a goal seven minutes before half-time and Balestier's misery was compounded when K.Vikraman was sent off in the 53rd minute.

The win moved Etoile to the top the standings with 61 points from 29 games, one point ahead of Tampines.
