Milovan Rajevac has agreed a one-year deal to become the new coach of two-time Saudi Arabia league champions Al Ahli.
The Serbian replaces Trond Sollied and will take charge of his new team for the first time in their league match against city rivals Al Ittihad next week.
Rajevac joins Al Ahli after leaving his post as Ghana national team coach last week and the appointment also marks a return to the Gulf region after he was an assistant coach at Qatar's Al Sadd in 2005.
The 56-year-old led Ghana to the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa, where they were beaten on penalties by Uruguay.
