A late double from Federico Martinez earned Singapore Armed Forces their second successive victory as they beat Gombak 2-0 to move up to fourth in the S.League.

The much-travelled Uruguayan striker opened the scoring in the 70th minute at Jurong West Stadium and added a second from the penalty spot 14 minutes later.

The win saw SAF continue their climb up the table following a poor run of form through July and August, while Gombak's first defeat in four games meant they dropped to sixth.
