Wolfsburg have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Diego from Juventus.
The Bundesliga club today confirmed the player had put pen to paper on a four-year contract late last night and will be officially paraded at a press conference in Wolfsburg this afternoon.
The former Werder Bremen playmaker can therefore make his second Bundesliga debut tomorrow when the Wolves host Mainz.
Diego played for Bremen for three years, scoring 38 goals in 84 appearances and inspiring them to the UEFA Cup final and DFB-Pokal crown in 2009.
However, he failed to live up to those standards in Serie A with Juventus last season and now returns to the league where he first made the breakthrough and earned his first call-ups to the Brazil national team.
A fee believed to be in the region of €15 million has been agreed between the two clubs.
