FC Seoul won the POSCO Cup today with a 3-0 win over Jeonbuk Motors at Jeonju World Cup Stadium.

In-form striker Dejan Damjanovic headed home the opener two minutes into the second half, the Montenegrin getting in front of the Jeonbuk defence to head a Server Djeparov corner into the net from close range.

The former Incheon United man was involved in the second goal eight minutes later as he broke free of the home defence to send a low shot goalward and, although Kim Min-Shik made the save, Jung was on hand to slot home the loose ball.

Jung made the third in injury time, crossing low for South Korea striker Lee Sung-Ryeol to convert an easy chance.

"It's great to win the trophy," Jung said after the match. "We have lost twice to Jeonbuk this year so psychologically this is a big result for us. We are playing good football at the moment and are getting good results."

Jeonbuk coach Choi Jang-hee was not too downbeat, with his team still in quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League.

"We did our best so I am not disappointed," he said. "Now we will prepare well for the K-League title race and the Asian Champions League."
