Welliton treble fires Spartak to victory
Welliton needed just seven second-half minutes to hit a hat-trick and fire Spartak Moscow to a 4-2 win over Tomsk in the Premier Liga.
The game exploded into life after a goalless first half as the Brazilian scored in the 52nd, 55th and 58th minutes to put his side firmly in control.
Sergey Kornilenko pulled one back for Tomsk after 68 minutes and grabbed a second from the spot in stoppage time as Spartak goalkeeper Sergei Pesyakov saw red, three minutes after Alex had re-established the three-goal lead.
Terek Grozny won 3-1 at struggling Krylya Sovetov in the day's other game.
