Pakhtakor scored twice in the second half to seal a 2-0 at Locomotive and strengthen their position in second in the Uzbek League.

Artur Gevorkyan opened the scoring in the 77th minute before Alisher Azizov made the points safe with a second for his side with two minutes remaining.

The win moved Pakhtakor seven points behind leaders Bunyodkor, who beat lowly Almalyk 1-0 on Saturday.

In other round 16 games, Nasaf edged Khorezm 2-1, Shurtan drew 2-2 with Mettalurg, Neftchi beat Navbahor 4-3, Andijan secured 1-0 win over Dynamo and Qyzylqum drew 1-1 with Mashal.
