Cercle Brugge enjoyed a fine 3-1 derby win over nine-man Club Brugge today.

The match was in the balance when Club Brugge's Carl Hoefkens cancelled out Renato Neto's early opener after 56 minutes.

But the dismissal five minutes later of Ivan Perisic swung the game in the hosts' favour and goals from Frederik Boi and Bernt Evens put them in complete control.

The away side's misery was complete when Rostand Kouemaha also saw red in the 89th minute.

Genk are the early leaders after three rounds, maintaining their 100 per cent start with a 5-0 thrashing of Charleroi.

Kevin De Bruyne and Elyaniv Barda both scored twice to add to Jelle Vossen's opener.
