Strikes from Yusuke Tasaka and Vitor Junior gave Kawasaki Frontale a 2-0 win over Sanfrecce Hiroshima at Todoroki Stadium today, firing them up to fourth in the J.League.

Tasaka opened the scoring for the hosts in the 54th minute with his first goal of the campaign before Vitor Junior made the points safe with a header 12 minutes later.

The victory lifted Kawasaki on to 32 points, six points behind leaders Nagoya Grampus, whom they host on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, struggling Kyoto Sanga suffered their six successive defeat with a 1-0 loss at home to Cerezo Osaka with Akihiro Ienaga scoring the game's only goal.

The defeat left Kyoto at the foot of the table with just two wins from 18 games while Cerezo climbed up to fifth.

Finally, the game between Omiya Ardija and Jubila Iwata ended goalless.
