Qatar side Al Rayyan have signed Korea Republic international Cho Yong-Hyung from Jeju United.

The 26-year-old agreed a two-year contract and becomes the second Korean defender playing in Qatar after compatriot Lee Jung-soo joined Al Sadd.

"Cho will be a good addition for the team as he has good qualities," Al Rayyan team manager Ali Salem told the club's official website. "We chose him after he produced good performances with his national team in the World Cup."

Cho moved to Jeju United in 2006 and the following year joined Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma but returned to Jeju in 2008.

Cho also started all four matches for Korea Republic in the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, where they were knocked out by eventual semi-finalists Uruguay in the last 16.
