Donovan late strike saves Galaxy
Landon Donovan's last-minute strike salvaged a 2-2 draw for the Los Angeles Galaxy in their MLS Western Conference encounter with the San Jose Earthquakes.
Bobby Convey fired San Jose ahead inside three minutes before Edson Buddle levelled for the conference-leading Galaxy 12 minutes into the second half.
Brandon McDonald looked to have secured the points for San Jose with his side's second with 18 minutes remaining but Manchester City target Donovan popped up at the death to secure a share of the spoils.
The point moves the Galaxy 10 points clear of Real Salt Lake having played two games more, while San Jose remain fifth.
