Andy van der Meyde will leave PSV Eindhoven after the club decided not to take up an option in his contract.
The 30-year-old joined the club on a free transfer in the winter following six months without a contract after an unsuccessful spell at Everton.
"PSV believe it is important for Andy to play weekly matches. PSV can not offer him that," general manager Jan Reker told the PSV website. PSV have already bolstered their attacking options for next season by signing Jeremain Lens from AZ Alkmaar.
