Santos Laguna stormed into the final of the Torneo Bicentenario with a 7-1 thrashing of Morelia.

Oribe Peralta scored a hat-trick as the home side secured a 10-4 aggregate win, with Fernando Arce (one), Carlos Quintero (12), Jorge Estrada (49) and Vicente Vuoso (58) also getting on the scoresheet. Luis Rey had equalised on the night for Morelia after five minutes, but they were subsequently overwhelmed.

Santos will face Toluca in the final after the home side beat Pachuca 1-0 despite being reduced to 10 men for 48 minutes. Antonio Rio put Toluca in front after 41 minutes but Osvaldo Gonzalez was sent off for his second bookable offence moments later. However, Pachuca could not make their numerical superiority count and Toluca held on for a 3-1 aggregate win.
