CSKA Moscow moved clear in second place, a point behind Premier Liga leaders Zenit St Petersburg, with a 1-0 win at Rubin Kazan.

The sides started the match level on points, but Chile international Mark Gonzalez scored six minutes before the break to give the win to CSKA.

Elsewhere, a brace from Roman Adamov gave Rostov a 2-1 win at Krylya Sovetov, while Terek Grozny beat bottom club Saturn Moscow 2-0.
