Al Ittihad won the Saudi Arabia King's Cup on Friday with a penalty shootout triumph against Saudi League champions Al Hilal, after a goalless 90 minutes.

Both teams failed to score in normal and added time, with Al Ittihad wasting a golden opportunity in the final minute when Mohammed Noor missed a penalty. However, Noor made up for his earlier miss as he successfully converted the final spot kick for his side in the shootout, after goalkeeper Mabrouk Zaid had saved Ahmad Al Faraidi's effort.
