FC Copenhagen moved a step closer to the SAS-Liga title this evening with a 2-0 victory at Brondby.

Mathias Zanka Jorgensen set the capital club on their way five minutes before half-time and Dame Ndoye made the points safe midway through the second half. The result put Copenhagen nine points clear of second-placed Odense BK, who visit Sonderjyske tomorrow in the first of their remaining four games.

AaB consolidated third spot with a 3-2 home win over 10-man FC Midtjylland, who slipped to fifth after relinquishing a 2-1 lead. Martin Albrechtsen and Collins Baba looked to have turned things around for the visitors after Andreas Johansson's first-minute opener.

But Michael Jakobsen's 61st-minute penalty and a last-gasp strike from substitute Kenneth Emil Petersen clinched the points for AaB, who played against 10 men for the last half-hour following the dismissal of Midtjylland's Leon Jessen.

Substitute Tim Janssen was on target a minute from time earn Esbjerg a 2-1 victor at basement boys Koge which saw the visitors climb to fourth.

Henrik Toft had put the hosts ahead after 12 minutes but Jesper Lange restored parity after 26 minutes before Janssen's late heroics.

Finally, Randers FC moved two points clear of the drop zone with a 1-1 draw at FC Nordsjaelland, Mikkel Beckmann grabbing them a point after Tobias Mikkelsen's opener.
