PAOK Salonika's return to the summit lasted only 24 hours as Panathinaikos and Olympiacos won to reclaim the top two positions.
Djibril Cisse scored twice, the first a penalty - a carbon copy of his haul in Thursday's Europa League win over Roma - as Pana won 2-0 at Panionios to go top.
One for Derbyshire
Olympiacos defeated Atromitos by the same scoreline, with former Blackburn Rovers striker Matt Derbyshire opening the scoring before substitute Kostas Mitroglou struck in the last minute.
Fifth-placed Aris Salonika also enjoyed a 2-0 triumph. Mehdi Nafti, introduced in place of Dario Fernandez after just 15 minutes as Aleksandar Radosavljevic was sent off for the visitors, scored a 32nd-minute opener and Javier Campora doubled the lead three minutes later.
Levadiakos leapfrogs Giannina
At the bottom of the table, Levadiakos thumped Giannina 4-1 to leapfrog their opponents and improve their goal difference against one of their main rivals in the relegation battle.
Victor Agali scored twice and Giorgos Barkoglou and Nacho Gonzalez were also on target before Ibrahima Bakayoko's late consolation.
Bottom-club Panthrakikos were beaten 3-1 at home by Kavala. Ebi Smolarek and Benjamin Onwuachi had the visitors two up inside 11 minutes and, though Steve Leo pulled a goal back, Diogo Rincon netted a third on the stroke of half-time.
