Colombian club Once Caldas claimed a memorable come-from-behind 2-1 victory against Brazilian giants Sao Paulo in their Group 2 clash in the Copa Libertadores.
Sao Paulo went ahead after 33 minutes when former Brazil goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni came forward to fire home a free-kick. The visitors maintained that advantage into the break, but four minutes after the re-start Fernando Uribe headed an equaliser for the Manizales-based side.
However man-of-the-match Dayro Moreno grabbed the winner 19 minutes from the end after dribbling past two defenders. Once Caldas' win lifted them to the top of Group 2 with a perfect record from their two games.
In Group 4, Argentinian side Lanus also recovered from a goal down before thumping Bolivian outfit Blooming 4-1. Brazilian Luiz Vieira fired the hosts ahead early on with an outstanding shot from outside the box.
However, Lanus were ahead before half-time with playmaker Sebastian Blanco and Paraguayan Santiago Salcedo on target. Lanus forward Diego Lagos then fired second-half double to clinch a first win for the Argentinians in three matches to keep their hopes alive. Blooming have yet to collect any points after three games.
In the other Group 4 game, Peru's Universitario and Paraguayan outfit Libertad played out a goalless draw to stay level at the top with seven points.
