Anderlecht retained their seven-point lead at the top of the table with a routine 2-0 victory against Mechelen at Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.
After a goalless first half, Guillaume Gillet gave the home side the lead in the 73rd minute, with substitute Romelu Lukaku getting the second goal two minutes later.
Elsewhere, second-placed Club Brugge came from a goal down to beat Standard Liege in the day's other fixture.
The visitors took the lead at Jan Breydel Stadium through striker Dieudonne Mbokani.
But Brugge hit back as half-time substitute Wesley Sonck levelled from the spot four minutes after the break, before Rostand Kouemaha struck the winner three minutes later.
