Marco Ramos struck in extra-time to send Lens into the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France on Wednesday with a 2-1 win at the expense of Brest.

The Ligue 1 strugglers made hard work of their progress before finally prevailing. After Adil Hermach's 29th-minute opener had given them the lead, the visitors clawed their way back through Nolan Roux in the 57th minute.

However, Ramos struck ten minutes into extra time to earn his side a narrow win and extend their participation in the cup.
