Tiago concedes it is early days in his Atletico Madrid career but admits he would like to continue at the Spanish club once his loan spell runs out at the end of the season.
The Portugal international joined Atletico from Juventus during the January transfer window and the 28-year-old midfielder has impressed coach Quique Sanchez Flores with his performances so far.
Tiago may only be a month into his stay with Los Rojiblancos, but he has seen enough to know he would like to extend his spell at the Vicente Calderon. "It's too early to talk about my future, but I would like to continue here," said the former Chelsea and Benfica man.
He added: "It's good to have the confidence of the coach. I'm playing and that's always positive. I came here to help the team and try to play as many games as possible, and for now I'm achieving both objectives. I'm improving and I'm feeling better than in the first matches."
