Defending UFL champions Al Ahli have announced Brazilian midfielder Cesar Clederson will rejoin the club until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old had left the club last year to join Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin but has opted to return to the team and help Al Ahli in their title defence as well as their AFC Champions League campaign.

"I'm happy to return to Al Ahli once again," Clederson told Al Ahli's official website. "I feel that I have returned home, especially with the way my old friends received me when I arrived at the club. I have a lot of memories with Al Ahli and I achieved several titles and hopefully my return will help the team."

Clederson enjoyed plenty of success with Al Ahli in his first spell with the club, winning the UAE President's Cup and UAE Super Cup as well as the UFL league title.
