USA international Freddy Adu has ended speculation linking him with Hull City by saying he has signed a loan deal with Greek club Aris.

The 20-year-old former child prodigy is currently contracted to Benfica, but had been on loan with another Portuguese side in Belenenses.

The attacking midfielder claimed earlier this week that he had offers from Aris and Hull to choose between, but he has now settled on Greece.

Adu today wrote: "Alright guys done deal. Signed an 18-month loan deal with Aris FC. A lot of thought and research went into this. Thanks for the support."
