Forward David Williams has completed a permanent switch to North Queensland Fury after a successful loan spell from Brondby.

The 22-year-old returned to North Queensland at the start of the A-League season on a one-year loan deal, after joining the Danish outfit in 2006.

But after scoring once in 17 appearances this season, the Fury have made the move permanent and Williams will remain at Dairy Farmer Stadium until the end of the 2012 season.

"It's great to be back in Australia and getting the opportunity to play," said Williams. "I'm really looking forward to playing for North Queensland for the next two seasons."

Williams joined North Queensland at the start of 2006, but made only two appearances before signing a three-year contract with Brondby.

He made his only appearance for Australia in a 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ qualifier against China PR last June, after representing the Socceroos at junior level.
