Al Sadd consolidated their position at the top of the Qatar League with a 2-1 victory over Al Khor today.
The 11-times league champions remain the only unbeaten side in the table with an eighth win of the season.
Al Sadd went ahead after seven minutes thanks to Brazilian striker Leandro Da Silva, who netted his 11th goal of the campaign to top the goal-scoring charts.
Ibrahim Al Maged then added a second for Al Sadd in the 75th minute, before Al Khor pulled a goal back through midfielder Mohamad Kasoula seven minutes later.
The win puts Al Sadd three points clear of Al Gharafa at the top of the table.
Also today, Al Arabi claimed their sixth win with a 1-0 success over Al Wakra.
Brazilian striker Cabore scored the only goal from the spot after 76 minutes.
