Bordeaux leave it late
Bordeaux extended their lead at the top of the table to four points after snatching a 1-0 win at Lyon.
The defending champions left it late, but Marouane Chamakh's 86th-minute goal proved the difference with Lyon dropping to ninth as a result. Montpellier are second after winning 1-0 at Toulouse, Souleymane Camara scoring the only goal in the tenth minute.
Lille moved up to third after handing out a 4-0 thrashing to Monaco in the principality. Tulio De Melo grabbed a brace with goals either side of half-time before Yohan Cabaye added a 72nd-minute penalty and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang completed the rout five minutes from time. Brazilian Adriano was sent-off for Monaco for the foul which led to Cabaye's spot-kick.
Paris St Germain bounced back from last week's defeat to Bordeaux with a comfortable 3-0 home win over St Etienne. Pegguy Luyindula opened the scoring after 11 minutes and Stephane Sessegnon made it 2-0 just two minutes later. Mevlut Erding effectively ended the game as a contest with a third goal for the home side five minutes before the interval.
Sochaux beat Grenoble 1-0 in Sunday's other game. A single goal from Yassine Mikari earned Sochaux the spoils, while Danijel Ljuboja missed from the penalty spot for Grenoble.
