Sepahan maintained their four-point lead at the top of the Iran Pro League with a 3-2 victory at Mes.
Mohsen Bengar gave the visitors a sixth-minute lead and although Edinho levelled for Mes in the 34th minute, Emad Mohammed and Ibrahima Toure gave Sepahan a 3-1 half-time lead. Mehdi Rajabzadeh pulled a goal back in the second half, but Sepahan held on to take three points.
Second-placed Zob Ahan kept in touch with the leaders as Mohamadreza Khalatbari's late goal two minutes from time sealed a 1-0 win over Teraktor.
At the other end of the table, Abumoslem remain bottom following a 1-0 defeat at Pas-Hamedan, Meghdad Ghobakhlou settling the encounter three minutes from the end.
Elsewhere, Farzad Majidi's double helped Esteghlal see off Moghavemat 3-2, while Davoud Haghi netted four in Saba Battery's 4-2 triumph over Steel Azin.
Finally, Saeed Ramezani's last-gasp strike salvaged a point for lowly Foolad at Peykan and Shahin beat Saipa 2-0.
