Al Jazira remain top of Group C in the UAE Etisalat Cup following a 1-0 win over Al Wasl.

Ahmed Mubarak scored the only goal of the game with 16 minutes remaining to give his side a valuable away win. In another Group C game, Al Nasr hammered Emirates 5-2 to climb to second place in the standings.

Al Nasr established a 2-0 lead in the first 10 minutes as Khaled Sirwash opened the scoring and Moroccan striker Ali Boussaboun doubled their advantage. Emirates pulled a goal back through Khamis Ismaeil in the 35th minute but Iranian striker Iman Mobali scored a third for Al Nasr five minutes later.

Moroccan midfielder Anouar Diba netted the fourth goal for Al Nasr after 81 minutes and added his second goal of the night two minutes later. Abdulrahman Khalfan grabbed a late consolation for Emirates in the final minute.
