Former Brazil international Roberto Carlos claims he has signed a two-year contract with Corinthians.

The 36-year-old, who has spent the past two years at Fenerbahce in Turkey, returns to his homeland in a move which also sees him link up with another Brazilian legend - Ronaldo. Roberto Carlos is aiming to add to his many trophies which include four La Liga titles, three UEFA Champions Leagues and a FIFA World Cup™.

"I'm anxious to get to Corinthians, pull the shirt onto my body, hear the crowd and to make history alongside Ronaldo," he told Radio Record. "I want to return to Brazil and win the Copa Libertadores with Corinthians to go down in history."

Roberto Carlos' contract with the Turkish club expires this month and Corinthians are expected to unveil the former Inter Milan and Real Madrid full-back on 20 December.
