Rudi Skacel hit a hat-trick to fire Slavia Prague to a 3-1 victory over Brno.

The struggling visitors took an early lead through Tomas Polach, but Skacel struck three times in 17 minutes near half-time to turn the game around and move Slavia to seventh place on 24 points.

Ceske Budejovice heaped more misery on bottom-of-the-table Bohemians Prague with a 3-0 home win.

Defender Martin Lestina put his side in front inside six minutes and second-half strikes from Tomas Strasky and substitute Lubomir Meszaros made the game safe.

The day's other game, between Teplice and Plzen, was postponed.
