Seven-time Qatar league champions Al Arabi edged closer to qualifying for the semi-finals of this year's Qatar Stars Cup following their 3-1 win against Qatar SC in Group A.
Al Arabi, who claimed their third win in the competition, owe their victory to their Brazilian striker Cabore who scored a hat-trick on the night to consign Qatar SC to their second defeat in the group.
Qatar SC opened the scoring after 26 minutes through Hassan Kamal but Cabore levelled the scores in the second minute of first-half injury time. He made it 2-1 in the 53rd minute from a spot-kick and sealed the win in the last minute of the game.
