Salzburg extended their lead at the top of the Austrian Bundesliga to two points today after a 3-2 win at SC Wiener Neustadt.

The highly-rated Marc Janko put the visitors ahead only for Hannes Aigner to level. Nikola Pokrivac and Christoph Leitgeb established a 3-1 lead for Salzburg with Mario Reiter netting a consolation for the hosts.

Austria Vienna moved up a place to second after beating Sturm Graz 1-0 - Jacek Bak grabbing the only goal. City rivals Rapid were held to a 3-3 draw at LASK Linz while Ewald Brenner netted as SV Ried beat rock-bottom Austria Karnten 1-0.
