Anderlecht went top of the Jupiler League with a 2-0 win at Gent, as Club Brugge went down 3-1 at Standard Liege.
Ondrej Mazuch and Romelu Lukaku were on target for Anderlecht, who opened up a two-point lead at the head of the standings.
Standard got off to a flying start against Brugge, Milan Jovanovic scoring twice inside the opening 15 minutes and Axel Witsel adding a third before half-time.
Karel Geraerts netted a consolation for the visitors, who slipped to second.
The win moved Standard up to third, five points behind their opponents.
