Racing Genk finally recorded their first home win of the season with a 2-0 success against Cercle Bruges.
It had been ten matches in total since the Cristal Arena faithful had been able to cheer a victory, but Denis Viane's fourth-minute own goal set them on their way.
And Brazilian full-back Tiago struck seven minutes before half-time to ensure a win that leaves Genk ninth on 17 points.
Cercle remain 13th, four points behind their opponents.
