Djibril Cisse scored twice as Panathinaikos moved joint top of the table with Olympiacos after a 2-1 win over ten-man Panionios.
Akeem Omolade Sulaimon was dismissed after seven minutes for the visitors who scored a consolation goal through Lorenzo Sito Riera. Cisse had opened the scoring with a penalty after nine minutes and grabbed his second two minutes later.
