St. Gallen stormed to a 5-0 win away to Bellinzona as they continued to improve following their faltering start to the Axpo Super League season. Uli Forte's team have now won back-to-back matches following a run of four successive defeats, and were in control by half-time.

Moreno Costanzo struck twice in five minutes to give them a 2-0 interval lead and Fabian Frei, Nico Abegglen and substitute Moreno Merenda rounded off the win after the break.

Table-topping Young Boys had to come from behind to draw at home to fourth-placed Lucerne, defender Emiliano Dudar levelling the scores six minutes after Cristian Florin Ianu had fired the visitors in front.

Aarau rescue point
Neuchatel Xamax were denied the chance to move second as Aco Stojkov's last-minute penalty completed his hat-trick and earned basement club Aarau a point in a 3-3 draw.

Carlos Varela, with a penalty, Stephane Besle and Mario Gavranovic had put Neuchatel 3-1 up after Stojkov's opener, but the Macedonia striker added a second and then levelled from the spot late on.
