Young Boys enhanced their position at the top of the Swiss Super League with a resounding 7-1 win over Bellinzona on Thursday 29 October.

Seydou Doumbia scored a hat-trick, while Gilles Yapi Yapo, with a penalty, David Degen, Scott Sutter and substitute Marc Schneider were also on target.

It was Young Boys' 11th win from 14 games this season and sees them move nine points clear of second-placed Neuchatel Xamax and third-placed FC Basel.

Neuchatel Xamax were held to a 1-1 draw by Lucerne in Thursday night's other fixture, Ideye Brown putting the hosts in front only for substitute Joao Pedro Paiva to reply 12 minutes from time for fourth-placed Lucerne.
