AEK Athens were made to work for a 3-2 home win over rock-bottom Panthrakikos.

The capital giants, who have laboured so far this season, went behind to Bedi Buval's first-half strike, but quickly levelled through Daniel Majstorovic and went ahead through Zeljko Djokic's own goal in the 39th minute.

Ignacio Scocco extended the lead and, though Robert Bertrand pulled one back, the visitors were unable to force an equaliser.

Onwauchi brace
Djibril Cisse struck an injury-time leveller to steal a 2-2 draw for Panathinaikos at Kavala. A first-half brace by Benjamin Onwuachi had given Kavala a comfortable lead until Kostas Katsouranis cut the gap.

Kavala looked set to hold on for the win until former Liverpool striker Cisse popped up in added time.

In other action, Panionios enjoyed a creditable 2-0 win away to Iraklis, Larissa won 2-0 at home to Xanthi and Atromitos were 3-0 winners against Levadiakos.
